This self catering holiday cottage is situated on the edge of Sherwood Forest.  It is ideal for exploring the myths of Robin Hood.  The beautifully restored early Victorian cottage is situated in the conservation area on the edge of a quiet village and gives easy access to the attractions of Sherwood Forest and Nottinghamshire.  The cottage is ideal for walkers, cyclists, National Trust enthusiasts and families looking for a child friendly holiday.  A pet is welcome by prior arrangement.
The holiday cottage sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms (one double bed & 2 singles).  There is a bed settee in the sitting room that can accommodate a further 2 guests.  The cottage stands in its own garden which is lawned with flower beds and mature trees.  The large south facing sheltered garden is perfect for relaxing.

Ridley Scott's 'Robin Hood' film starring Russell Crowe as Robin Hood and Cate Blanchett as Maid Marion is on general release from 14 May.  To celebrate this a number of events are taking place in Sherwood Forest and Nottingham:

*  Universal Films exhibition from March 15 at Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre and Nottingham Castle featuring props, costumes, and video interviews with the stars
*  Monday 3 May (May Day) - May Day parade in the Robin Hood village of Edwinstowe
*  Saturday & Sunday 15 & 16 May - Medieval encampment demonstrating crafts, warfare, cooking and music at Rufford Country Park
*  Throughout the month there will be exhibitions, talks, archery, guided walks, story telling and medieval re-enactments around Nottinghamshire
